Blues
Blues lessons may involve rhythm, pentatonic ideas, bends, vibrato, phrasing, improvisation, chord progressions, and learning licks or solos by ear.
The blues is especially useful for learning how much can be done with a relatively small amount of musical material. Two players can use almost the same pentatonic box and still sound completely different.
Because of that, a lot of attention can go toward timing, touch, bends, vibrato, dynamics, and the space between notes rather than simply memorizing scale shapes.
This path is a starting point, not a fixed curriculum.
